Mary,
Tooth has been groovy for a week. It is fairly easy to do the
transfer. Export the object out as an obj. Then go into houdini and
create a file sop and load the obj into the sop. If it looks all black
you may need to run it through a clean sop with orient polygons on.
Then go to rops and create a geometry output and link it to the clean
node. Use this "renderer" to export out the geometry as a bgeo. Then
start a new file and import in the bgeo through a file sop. Converting
the geometry to a bgeo may seem redundant but go ahead and do so.
Houdini uses alot less resources when it's not having to convert mel.
I'll be there until 2ish and be back around 9pm tonight if you run into
a snag.
